Work   Experience

At present I am trying to import Laptops and accessories  from U.S.A. & export Italian products to the rest of the world. 

Of a company based in Iquique, Chile Importers & Exporters of multi products such as  Computers, Laptops, Accessories, Tires & Tubes (for heavy & light vehicles, bicycles), Bicycles, Bicycles parts, Used Japanese cars. Exporting to Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil and also domestic market of Chile.

Free Zone  of Iquique Chile is one of the biggest trade center in Latin America.

Responsibilities :

• Creation of the company / setting up the administration, commercial & technical departments.
• Overall in charge of the company to take decisions.
• Negotiating with suppliers, clients, Banking credits.
• Handling banking, Letter of Credits, Payments & finance,  Forecasting purchases, sales & customs.
• Traveling domestic as well as International market for the purpose to  develop new markets trough representatives and direct channel.
• Handling 6 persons skilled & 8 unskilled.
• Work to increase sales & profitability.
• Managed sales representatives, whole sellers & assemblers.

Commercial activity stopped owing to the economical crisis in Chile and after Argentina (which arose in Argentina late December 2001).  

In a biggest  manufacturers/exporters of  All types of Tires & Tubes, Chains & electro domestic in Ludhiana - India having export office in New Delhi named Metro Tyres Limited group of companies.

Responsibilities :

• Controlling exports to Latin America.
  
• Develop new markets & new products. 
  
• Travel frequently more than 200 days in a year to maintain ties with existing clients and to procure orders.
  
• Follow up payments, documents & shipments control in time.
  
• Organize & attend  International Fairs.

Results:

• Strengthened export sales (from 0.05% to 90 %).
  
• Penetration of the complete Latin American market through the wholesalers and SAFEWAY.

• Entrance & presence  of our products in Turkey, France, Italy, Egypt, Syria etc. markets through the wholesalers/importers.
  
• Diversified the client base and not only increased sales also dominate the full market like monopolist due to our quality.
  
• Managed the agents and wholesalers network in Latin American, European & Asian countries.

Started from very beginning. I learnt a lot each & every areas i.e. Export marketing, documentation, Costing including import/advance  licenses, procurement department, product development, shipment & warehousing. Actually that one have to pass the training of each & every process to be competitive.

Handling  5 assistants. Start traveling to Bangladesh & other Asian markets afterward Latin America. 

 Maintaining  good relations with representatives & wholesalers  from different countries.

Learnt French language while working.

Got full confidence  overall in International Marketing, costing, shipping, documentations, procurements, stuffing & shipments etc.

Got good name in Ludhiana Industries.

Actually I born in business & developing nature family where my parents brought me up with lot of capacity & encouragement to grow and come at this level. My father was a middle class eminent die maker of Bicycle parts & engineering goods in Ludhiana from whom I learnt hard working day & night. At the very little age I used to help my father to manufacture dies & zigs also parts. Slowly slowly I start moving our products to wholesalers & medium & large factories where I learnt negotiations & marketing behavior.

In our factory I used to handle 10 workers, purchase & sales all was full  sacrifice as I was studying  but anyhow that make me perfect & hard worker.
